Soda and fruit juice are 'biggest culprits in dental erosion'

Did you know that sodas, carbonated drinks, sports drinks, and fruit juices are all known to be harmful to teeth if they are consumed too often?  This is because all of these drinks are acidic and wear down tooth enamel! Acidity is normally buffered by saliva, however when a drink is too acidic, saliva is unable to fully neutralize the environment in the mouth and enamel erosion occurs.
